NEW DELHI: Mukesh Ambani-run Reliance Jio has come out with its ‘exciting’ tariff plans which it had earlier talked about. The ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan’ plans are similar to its ‘summer surprise’ offer where it was offering unlimited data and voice benefits for 3 months on recharging for Rs 303 and above.
The telco is now offering 1 GB data per day at Rs 309 for Jio Prime users and Rs 408 (Rs 309 + Rs 99) for non-Prime users. On recharge of Rs 509, Jio Prime users will get 2 GB daily data and non-Prime users will have to pay Rs 608 for the same.
The plan will be available from Tuesday and will be valid for 84 days from the date of subscription
Both the tariff plans offer unlimited free voice, unlimited SMS and access to Jio apps. Customers opting for these plans will have to recharge once and will get the benefits for 3 months.
ETTelecom has first reported Jio plans to launch more exciting offers.
Jio on March 31 had announced that the customers who were yet to register for its "Prime Membership Plan" will have time till April 15 to join the scheme by paying Rs 99 and recharging with a minimum of Rs 303, which will get them 3-month complimentary 4G service.
The offer is being withdrawn as per the April 6 directions of TRAI.
Vodafone yesterday complained to Trai that Reliance Jio is still "luring customers" to subscribe the 'Summer Surprise' offer despite the regulator finding it in violation of norms.
